There was a problem linking my account

If you get an error that there was a problem linking your Dropbox or Google Drive account, here are some possible causes and steps to troubleshoot.

1. We didn't receive permission to access your Dropbox or Google Drive account.

It's necessary to give Remember The Milk permission to access your Dropbox or Google Drive account to use the attachments feature. If you accidentally cancel during the permission process, or more than 5 minutes has passed since you began the process, you'll receive an error. You can start again by pressing the "Try again" button to link your account, and make sure to allow access for Remember The Milk when prompted.

2. There was an intermittent network error connecting to Dropbox or Google Drive.

Check that you're currently able to access Dropbox or Google Drive, and visit the Dropbox status page or Google Drive status page to make sure there aren't any known issues. If there don't appear to be any current problems with your cloud storage service, press the "Try again" button to try linking again.
